Ryan Garcia returns to the ring against rival Devin Haney in a heavily anticipated match for the WBC super-lightweight title at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Saturday (April 20).

The Garcia vs. Haney fight will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Saturday night. Boxing fans can stream the fight live on Dazn and PPV.com.

The main card event is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Garcia and Haney’s ring walk is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT.

Devin Haney puts his unbeaten record and his WBC Super Lightweight title on the line, as he fights his old amateur rival, Ryan Garcia.

Make no mistake about it, Haney is the lead character in this fight and is on the verge of being the face of Boxing. With that said, Ryan Garcia cuts an intriguing character and played a huge part in a massive fight between himself and Gervonta Davis last year.

Garcia’s mental well-being has come under question since his last fight against Davis, but when he’s back in the ring, he’s expected to put up a fight against the champion, as the pair ended with a 3–3 record in the amateur ranks.

Haney is 31–0 in his career, but only 15 of those have come by way of knockout. Each of his last eight wins have come via the Judges’ Scorecards, and the expectation is that this fight will go all the way as well, with Haney expected to prove the better fighter over 12 rounds.

Garcia is 24–1 but has been the more explosive of the two fighters, recording 20 knockouts, including in his last fight, which was a bounce-back win against Oscar Duarte. That was the first time Duarte lost inside of 12 rounds in his career and only the second loss of his career overall, showing what Garcia can bring to this fight.

Haney is the better fighter and expected to cruise to victory in this one, as he looks to dominate the Super Lightweight Division, in the same way he did at Lightweight.
